To make us all feel a little better after last week's topic...
1) Travel - although travel can suck sometimes, my work brings me to places I'd never think about traveling to, and I meet people from all over the country
2) The people - true, there are some people I don't get along with, but as a whole, I've got some great coworkers, some I'd even keep in touch with long after I leave this job
3) Not boring - I'm always working with different clients, in different place, on different projects. There's always something new and I'm not doing the same thing every day
4) Enhancing my people skills - I work with people all the time - clients and my coworkers. It really has helped me confidence with public speaking and talking with people
5) Networking - I'm working with people from all kinds of companies - retail, financial, academic, government. I've got a pretty good understanding of these industries and have made some great contacts
6) Free Internet! Since I work from home, my job pays for my internet, printer ink and paper and cell phone. Just like food, it always tastes better when it's free!
7) Using my brain - there's a lot of problem solving involved with my job, so my brain gets a pretty good workout every day
8) Vacation days - since I've been here for 10 years, I get 5 weeks of vacation, which is pretty sweet.
9) Frequent Flier Miles - since I travel (or used to) all the time, I've racked up a ton of frequent flier miles. One day, I'll use them to go to Europe!
10) Working from home - I can do laundry during a break, make my own lunch, and get up and work in my pajamas. There's a lot of perks to working from home!

9. Enjoying my kids younger years.

I'd give anything for those frequent flyer miles. I used to travel a lot in my younger years, but now it's such a hassle. Yet, I could do it again if someone coaxed me outta my home to go somewhere exotic. LOL
