10 Things You Won’t Miss About Winter

It’s been a pretty tough winter here in the Midwest…normally I love wintertime, but I’m ready for spring to come!

  1. Snow…every week
  2. Shoveling snow
  3. Gross, dirty snow (sensing a trend here?)
  4. Having a really dirty car, covered with gross, dirty snow
  5. Really bad traffic when it’s snowing
  6. Taking an extra 5 minutes to get out of the house because we have so many layers to put on
  7. Icy sidewalks
  8. When the snow melts, there’s a lot of mud.  Eew.
  9. Having to worry about running out of windshield wiper fluid
  10. Getting into a cold car and having to wait for it to warm up

    I guess you always want what you don’t have - we rarely get snow where I live, so my list includes wishing for snow! You #10 definitely made my list, though … that’s the worst.

    ten things I won’t miss about winter…

    For me this is a seemingly odd question in San Diego we don’t actually have “winter” per se. So I’ll give it a go anyway.

    This was a hard one for me since I’m in a part of California that doesn’t have “real winter”. But I gave it a try anyway. I always wish for snow but do not envy those of you who get real snow because I cannot imagine the shoveling, etc. that goes with real snow.
