10 Movies You’re Excited to See

The summer blockbuster movie season is on its way - what movies are you excited to see? Here’s a list if you don’t know what’s coming out this year: http://www.imdb.com/nowplaying/. Feel free to list movies that are already out or on DVD already - I know I have zero time to get out to theaters to see movies, so most of these will be seen on DVD, if not on cable!
- Iron Man - Was at first a little weary of the big hype, but my fellow comic book geeks gave it the thumbs up, and they can’t be wrong!
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Although I’m 50/50 on it, I’d watch it just to see Harrison Ford move around a lot.
- Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Loved the silly stupidness of the first, I’m sure the second is just as silly and stupid
- Kung Fu Panda - This is actually one I might watch in a theater - during a really early show so there’s no one to complain about my son asking “What’s that” during the whole movie
- Get Smart - I grew up watching Maxwell Smart talk on his shoe phone. The only person who could fill Don Adams shoes is Steve Carrell!
- Wanted - Filmed in Chicago, what else can I say?
- Hancock - Yet another superhero movie, and it wouldn’t have been on my radar at all if not for those really interesting previews on TV. I admit, I’m intrigued.
- The Dark Knight - I’ve been trying to stay away from spoiler sites and seeing trailers and such, just so I can completely enjoy watching this movie. Of out all the movies on this list, this is the one that I will most likely see in the theater
- Mamma Mia - I’m an ABBA junkie, and I loved seeing Mamma Mia on stage. Even if this movie is half as good, that means it’s still going to be toe tappin’ fun!
- The X-Files: I Want to Believe - The X-Files is one of my favorite television shows ever, so I’m pretty excited to see it come back to the big screen

Hello! Great list you have. We have four (4) movies which we both want to see! I have seen Iron Man and it’s quite good. X-Files is also one of my fave TV shows. My sis is a big fan!
