10 Greatest Accomplishments in Your Life

May 29th, 2007 by Yano

Thanks for all the compliments last week!

Here’s my top accomplishments, in no particular order

1) Giving birth to my sone
2) Knowing how to play several instruments
3) Planning my wedding (also, getting married)
4) Saving enough money to buy a home
5) Always knowing that I have friends I can turn to
6)

….I’m really sleepy right now. I’ll continue my list tomorrow!

Next week: 10 Occupations You Wanted to be When You Were Young

Wow….I really had to stop and think on this week’s challenge! Ten accomplishments for my ‘mundane’ housewife existence is tough! So, I did this—

    Mine are Listed Here

  3. Kitty Says:

Mine are listed. Couldn’t think of 10 though :(

  4. Jolene Says:

Mine are up. Great theme this week. Should be interesting to read other TOTs today.

  5. Cat, Says:

I was afraid this would be hard, but it turned out to be do-able after all.

Thanks for putting a positive spin on what could turn out to be a horrible day! :-)

  6. Write From Karen Says:

I agree, this WAS hard. But was it hard because I haven’t really accomplished much in my life? Or was it hard because it’s difficult to concentrate on the positive as opposed to the negative?

Hope your long weekend was fun!

  7. Rebecca Says:

I didn’t think I could do it, but I came up with ten.

  8. Patois Says:

Congratulations to all on what you’ve accomplished! I’ve posted my list, too!

  9. JennieBoo Says:

I’m up on my blog. Sorry so late today :(
Not so many accomplishments for myself…plenty to be proud of, though.

Hope you (& everyone!) had a wonderful Memorial Day, yesterday.

See ya next week, if not before!

    Blessings!

  10. Nino Says:

Still thinking, but some are up.

  11. Cassie Says:

Missed last week’s but here I am today!

  12. Frances Says:

Giving birth to my daughter is my number one too.
I could only come up with 6 myself.
Need to live a few more years I guess to have 10 in all.
    Have a fabulous week,
    Frances

Mine are going up right now!!!
I like this one…fun to ponder.

  15. cmaine Says:

I’m going to think about this some more. I agree with Karen–we do tend to be pretty hard on ourselves focusing on the negative aspects of our lives. I imagine we could each come up with plenty of our mistakes! (Please don’t use that for another TOT!)

  25. Bubba's Sis Says:

I agree with everyone else - this was hard! But I came up with these things….(OK I don’t know how to do the link thing, but just go to my blog!)

  26. cjh Says:

I think people don’t realize what they have actually accomplished. It seems like they are just taken for granted or minimized. I bet you’ve all done way more than 10 fantastic things.

  27. Ginny Says:

I have to admit I almost didn’t play, hence why so last minute. I’m so glad I did though, once I got started it was easier to come up with. Being a stay at home, sometimes I feel like I don’t accomplish much since I don’t have a “career” but being with my kids is an accomplishment in itself (other stay at home moms know what I mean, LOL)
