The Next Generation

At family parties, all the aunties and uncles always bring out the mah jong tables and playing. Last week, the kiddies got their own table to play with!
I’ve got about 2000 pictures to sort through from my Alaska trip…it’s going to take some time!

hahahaha! i LOVE that pic!
How funny! At our family parties it was the same. The parents would play till all hours of the night, while us kids eventually got bored of each other and would fall asleep. Looks like Ben really knows what he’s doing there…
Yeah, he sits on my aunts lap when she plays. He used to call out the tile names until she told him that he was giving away what she had. He’s pretty familiar with the game!
That’s too cute! It’s amazing what kids pick up. I really love this pic! Brings back so many childhood memories of many mah jong weekends…
jacob looks like he’s losing… hahaha
Haha, no worries. I am STILL sorting through the thousands of photos I took in England. The curse of digital cameras, huh?
Some of my best childhood memories come from when my family played games together. For us, it was usually board games and card games, but basically the same idea.
I love mah jong! But I’ve only played it as a solitaire game. I wish I could play it with other people.
