This Makes Me a Little Bit Excited
More than 15 years ago, a barely teenaged girl in Chicago wrote a 4 page letter, both sides, in 4 colors - to a group of five guys from Boston, telling each one how much she loved them and was proud of them and how she couldn’t wait to see them them in concert.
Looking back, I have NO idea what took 8 pages to say, but man, I loved me some NKOTB back in the day. Me, my sisters and cousins each had our own, though I think I got the short end of the stick when I got assigned Danny as my favorite. We loved them. We adored them. My “Hangin’ Tough” video was played often in the house. I took the time to learn the special piano intro Jordan played for “I’ll be loving you”.
The guys have aged pretty well…If they actually DO get back together, I just might take the time to watch them.
…and maybe write another letter.

oooh, I loved me some NKOTB back in the day too. They were all over my walls, along with Menudo….. but I never wrote either of them a letter.

don’t know if you saw my Twitter message, but they’re going to be on The Today Show TOMORROW at 7:00am EST. i don’t know what time their segment is going to be on, and i don’t know if they’re going to perform, but you should DVR it or something. i think i’m going to do that, too. i was going to wait until someone posted it to YouTube.
and yeah, we had our own favorites, too… i got first dibs at Jordan. but man, he was a jerk on The Surreal Life. LOL (haha i just saw what Misty wrote…)
oh the memories… *sigh*
i remember having to cram myself into the trunk of a hatchback to head up to alpine valley to catch their concert!! jon and danny were my faves!!! and yeah, they are still *HOT*!!
btw, they confirmed their reunion on the Today Show this morn… they’re doing a Today Show PERFORMANCE on may 16… just in case you want to put some time aside to watch… ;-D
damn! i’ll be on a plan back from Florida that day. i’m gonna have to program my tivo for that… hehehe…
That squeeing you hear is coming all the way from Los Angeles!!!!! I about had a cow when I heard back in January that NKOTB was getting back together.
Donnie was, is and will always be my favorite. So much so that I even watch the tv shows that he’s been in lately.
