Today’s theme for American Idol is “Songs from the year you were born”, which makes me feel really…really…old. They’re singing songs that I actually remember listening to on the radio! Thank God for Michael Johns, who was born in 1978. I missed the first half hour, but I’ve got it recorded so I’ll check it out later…
Dude, you and me both were feeling our age! I about died when I heard that David A was born in 1990!!! That’s the year I graduated college. I had hoped he would bust out with Ice Ice Baby or maybe something from NKOTB but he chose to go with some obscure Austrialian song from the 80s that was covered in the 90s. What I don’t get is why Ryan felt the need to point out that David C was singing a cover of Chris Cornell’s cover of Billie Jean, but didn’t do that for David A. Double standard much, American Idol?
