I forgot to post this picture of my new haircolor. Aquaman took it the day we went to the new McDonalds. It would have been nice if he told me that my hair was messed up and looked like straw. I know that I said I have issues with people touching my hair (guys actually), but this is one instance where I would minded if he either a) told me to fix it myself or b) just fixed it himself before taking the picture. Oh well! If you look real hard, you can see Redpac taking a picture of me. Actually, you don’t have to look hard at all. If you think his hair looks like a helmet in this picture, you should see it now!

I don’t remember what the actual color I used was, but I had been hoping it would be a little brighter and farther away from my natural hair color. I was looking for an almost big change. Why not a big change? because I’m really a chicken. Anyway, I think you can only see the color when I’m in natural sunlight. In indoor lighting, it looks pretty much like my natural hair color. I’ll give it a couple months. I may go back to highlights for the summer.

I’m having a love/hate relationship with my new bangs. I hate them because I’m constantly pushing them out of my face, and I had forgotten from my pubescent bang related acne problem what havoc bangs can do to your face. I have a zit that may ro may not be related to my hair being in my face all the time. We’ll see.

However, there are other days that I love love love my hair! Actually, I love it more than I hate it. I was really scared to get bangs, but I’m glad I did. Personally, I think they look great. It could look like crap to everyone else, but this is one of the few times where I don’t care. I was concerned that they would be high maintenance (and hair maintenance is something I rank right there with washing windows) but I could just wash and go without much other styling, which is great. Back when I had cut off my hair, I had to make sure to blowdry it then make sure that it did get all crazy afro on me. I don’t miss those days!
