Oh my!!!

That is VERY lumpy!! I don’t think I can take much more about your eye. Each time I read about it, my eyes start to water, ache and then I become paranoid about all of the reasons I’m going to be blind when I wake up. Although, I suppose that is better that putting it off. *AHEM, Mrs Dr Dave*

Speaking as a nurse who’s seen alot of weird sh*t– that’s gross!

And when I say ‘gross’ I mean in an interesting medical sort of a way. I am strangely drawn to look at it over and over again. What exactly is that lumpy thing? Is it part of the sclera? Or is part of your lower lid that swelled up? I’m intrigued.

omg, yano. i didn’t know what to expect! when i told ruchira (rasika’s sister) about it (since she’s an OD), she gasped and wondered if it was already taken care of. i told her that of course, it was. i hope it’s not that lumpy anymore.

Denise: Dr. Dave says its most likely a swelling of the tissue around the eye. It is definitely much better now, though there is still some swelling.

Kat: The lumpiness is minimal now. I think it’s going down after the new meds.

You guys are pretty brave to be looking at it!!!
