Reader Survey
This is the very first yanowhatimean? reader survey. It has been brought to our attention the site is loading a bit slower than usual since we’ve implemented the latest template.
So I had promised an investigation into this matter - is the site loading slower for you? Nothing annoys me more than a slow loading site, but since I’m on DSL, it’s hard for me to test the site speed. Are there any other things that you’re running into on the site that you’d like to improve/change?
We here at yanowhatimean (all one of us) care about giving you the best worktime wasting experience possible, even IF your name is Jones and you’re hated by the wrestling community, race car drivers, pro surfers and many more. Every person counts.

Yes, it does load slowly. And I’m on a high speed cable modem.
Yes it has been loading MUCH slower for me. But I thought is was just my crappy computer. There was that one issue that I quickly IM’d you about, but that hasn’t happen since. I think there might have been a bird on a wire somewhere causing the glitch.

yep, it loads slower to me too. it didn’t used to do that before, i think it’s wierd.
It does load way slower for me. It’s not too bad at work where I’m on a network but it takes forever at home and I have high speed dsl.
Is it faster now? I’ve taken away the opacity filter (so the tables aren’t see through anymore) and I’m assuming that’s what is taking so much processing time.
It’s good for me on cable, but it was good for me before.

It’s a little better since you made the change. But it still isn’t as fast as it used to be. But it is a little better.
Yeah, it had been loading quite slowly for me; and I’m on a cable modem. But since you changed the opacity filter, it’s a lot better!
It was loading very slow for me too but now it loads just fine. It’s much better.
I don’t have load problems, but I think it would be slower than before for dial-up users. What I have trouble with with this design is copying and pasting. The mouse doesn’t highlight the text correctly for some reason.
Never mind. I can highlight text just fine now. Musta been that opacity filter thingie.

This morning it is even better than last evening when I tried. I am a dial up user so there could have been too many birds sitting on the wire again last night. It is working much better this morning. Thanks!
