6 … times I’ve been to the Chicago Comic Convention
7 … years that Dave and I have been together
8 … months I’ve been married
9 … times I’ve watched ‘Scary Movie 2′ since I moved here (our DVD collection isn’t too big)
10 … women that were bridesmaids/principal sponsors at my wedding
What’s a sponsor? Did you have to wear their logo on your veil?
I would have thought that you would have known, Noelle, the expert on Philipino wedding customs.
Filipinos (and other countries) have ’sponsors’ in their weddings. Secondary sponsors get to walk in the beginning of the ceremony, and end up being ‘godparents’ for the couple…meaning they shell out a lot of dough to get the honor of walking in the wedding. Primary sponsors get to do special things in the ceremony, like put on the veil and cord, which is a spanish/filipino custom. This will all be made clear when I get my wedding galleries up. Someday.
