Went today to help Dave’s uncle move in Glendale, CA. Dave’s from Glendale Heights, IL, which is VERY different from the California Glendale. For one thing, it’s a lot warmer. For another thing, it’s on a mountain. There are no mountains in Glendale Heights! It was a lot of hard moving, but he had a company doing most of the hard stuff, we just had to move around a couple boxes. Most of the time was spent hanging outside in the garage talking with Dave’s cousins. It’s good to know that Dave has family out here, and that his cousins are pretty cool and fun.

Went to the mall and got this AWESOME pair of jogging pants from the Gap. They’re so comfy I can live in them. I’m wearing them as we speak.

I realized that the radio stations here are WAY better than the ones in Chicago. Why don’t we have a good hip hop station in Chi-Town? Me and Dave were jammin’ to ‘The Beat’ while cruisin’ home on the 405. Car dancing is always a good time.

I think I’m starting to warm up to this place!

But I’m still unpacking….
