Potato, Potahto, Tomato, Tomahto
We went grocery shopping yesterday. Here’s a little sample of our conversations:
Him: Ohh! Coconut cookies…
Her: Eww. I hate coconut. Ohh….Fudge Stripes!
Him: Those are so fattening….Do you like oatmeal raisin cookies?
Her: Yuck! No way!
Him: Uh, I don’t know if this is gonna work out…
I was beginning to get concerned, but when we found the Cap’n Crunch Choco Donuts, we both agreed, we had to get them!!!
Unfortunately, when we tried them, they weren’t as good as our Cocoa Puffs. Well, at least we tried!
In other news, I had Jack in the Box for the first time yesterday. All my life I’ve heard about it, but we don’t have it in Chicago. And when we were driving along PCH, I saw like 50 of them. So when Rod and I went for a quick lunch break yesterday, we had the gourmet sensation known as Jack in the Box. Pretty good, I must say. Doesn’t hold a candle to White Castle, but I’ll definitely go there again!
This is weird. Dave reads over my shoulder now when I post. I feel….pressure. FYI - Dave has only read my blog once or twice. He finds this whole blogging thing really weird. Oh well, welcome to my world, Dave!
Jack in the Box is pretty good…. but you have YET to try In ‘N Out!!!! you must try it!!! =P

Yes, married life. Your favorite foods turn out to be your spouses most hated ones. Weird habits you never knew about before. If you can work it out and adjust to that you have a good start.
Just wait til he finds out some of the other weird things you do!

man o man…never had jack in the box!…crazy…that’s where our worship team goes every week whenever we can’t decide on what to eat…jack in the box is good stuff…
but i guess you’d say the same thing to me if i said i’ve never had white castle…which i haven’t…hehe…so i guess i shouldn’t talk…
I’d have to agree with Linda. In ‘N Out has some great burgers!! Jack In The Box used to be in Chicago, but they closed down, so I was surprised to see them in Cali too. It’s alright… no biggie hehe. And Carl’s Jr is the west coast version of Hardee’s. Damn, I’m hungry now…
Hmmmm only been married a week. LOL. Isn’t it amazing what you find out when you live with them. LOL As far as not liking the same kind of snacks, well, just wait until you buy a package of those Fudge Stipes and when you go for them they are all gone and you didn’t even get a single one! Yep, then well see just how fattening they really are! LOL NEVER FAILS TRUST ME!
we have a ton of Jack in the Box’s here in Houston and i always forget to bring Mel a Jack ball! i have a ton! oh, well!
