I Feel Naked

I forgot my ring at home. Everytime I look at my finger I get a mini panic attack, then remember that I left it at home. My hands just feel the same. Maybe I should tie a string around my finger.
Today is going to be another tough day at work. I’ve got a training class that I haven’t prepared for at all. I’m just going to wing it and just hope that my students don’t figure out that I’m just pulling the info out of my ass.
And then it’s another late night of coding and testing for me. *sigh*
So how’s your day?
I always feel naked when I would forget my ring at home. However I really never take it off anymore unless to clean it, so it hasn’t been an issue for almost 2 years now.
Sorry you’re swamped at work, I feel a little guilty that I’m not more busy myself considering. Instead of been happily day dreaming. Anyways…and I don’t know how Tony managed it but we are going to Shakepeare’s Theatre at Navy Pier to see Mid Summer’s Night at 2pm. I’m half expecting to get yelled at when we return or tomorrow.
yesterday my day ended quite crappy and today my day started quite crappy. turns out they did a server move and while everything else was moved, my MySQL databases were NOT moved and so all you get is just my template. and not even all of that! with pMachine, everything is basically driven by the database so you get jack squat! so, needless to say that i’m ticked off because i can’t blog and i have to do it all off-line.
i’m so attached to my blog it’s not even funny!
other than that, i’m waiting for lunch and then i’ll be peachy keen!
