In Case You Were Wondering...

...I've gotten peed on 4 times already. Sad thing is, my friend Jen got me this cute pee guard thing to use when changing, but I always forget to use it!

You know what though? The first time you get peed on you really freak out. After that, it's like, 'Whatever, it's just pee. I gotta change this diaper!'

I had a diaper service and used cloth diapers (of course, in Seattle) but I'd always strategically place one over the bottom of Lucas's tummy while changing. That is harder to do with disposables.

lol.....i would take a baby wipe and fold it into a little square and put it over his pee-pee, then do what i gotta do. i would also take a cloth diaper and put it under ayden's butt, so i wouldn't have to change the changing pad cover all the time

Wait until he poops in his bath water.

Thai - Oh, HE HAS! And I laughed so hard and said, "YEAH! That's what you get!"

I had the same thing as Janet. Nothing but soft cottom diapers for my boy's bottom! And one over that "stragetic part" every time I changed him..lol. Oh Sue! :( :( or smears it one the new wallpaper like one of my friend's young toddler did...:(

WHAT!?!? They've invented a pee guard. Why did you tell me!!!!

This leads me to wonder... did you lay in such a large supply of diapers that you've been covered since you got home with Benjamin? Or have you had to go buy more already?

And how many times has Dave been peed on so far? ;)

I was once changing my nephew and he started peeing, and it shot up into the air like a geyser. It startled me so that I jumped back and yelled OH!!! and I scared the poor little guy and he started screaming! I felt soooo bad!

Ooh is it the Peepee Teepee? Yeah thankfully with #2 being a girl, I don't have to worry much about getting caught in the line of fire. heh. She did poop in her bath water though :(. Isn't being a mommy just so much fun ;). Sounds like you're enjoying yourself to me.

used to pee all over my grandmother and she never lets me forget it

like I knew what I was doing

And I will confess right here in front of the whole world that I accidentally dropped both of my kids when they got to that wiggly stage. My son sqiggled off of the kitchen table while in a baby carrier right in front of me. But he landed on carpet and wasn't hurt at all. And my daughter squiggled off of the changing table right in front of me and landed on carpet unhurt. It's like one day they are still as always and the next day---wiggling all over the place from that point on. I was mortified and horrified and thought I was the worst Mom ever.

Ho No Janet. That's when they're teenagers.
