As I think I might have mentioned before (maybe I didn't mention it here, I don't remember) I really LOVED the Canadian hats during the Olympics. They were just so cute, and I realized that they were a lot cuter on the girls than the guys. I checked online to see if there was any way that I could order them, but when I went on the official site I didn't see the hats there....there was other Canadian Olympic gear, but no cute hats. Of course, when I went there today they were there but I swear they weren't there several weeks ago!
Anyway, thanks to a wonderful, awesome, super-cool reader that lives out in Canada, I got a Canadian hat in the mail! I was so excited to wear it out. I've already worn it all over the house (and Dave has, too, but he just looks weird in it), but I'm almost hoping that spring waits just a couple more weeks so I could use my hat outside. Thank you so much, Canadian reader!
Also, Dave really had his eye on the Roots USA Olympic hat, though it was $30 at Target during the games. We went there last weekend and everything was 50% off, so he bought the hat for $15. So now we've got a little collection of Olympic hats, which includes the beret that I got in '02.
So here's my little hat fashion show, which also includes me eating a chocolate that was sent over to me from a ultra-awesome individual who went to Torino (sorry, I forgot to wear the pin, too!). The chocolates are delicious, but I'm limiting myself to one a day which is driving me crazy...I want to take a bunch of pics much like my "self dorktrait" from a couple years ago...

I wanted to get you a beret but there were no berets to be bought in Torino. We were asking people who were wearing them where we could go to get one and they all said TARGET! So much for that. :P
