The US Short Track Championships are this week, which will ultimately help choose what skaters go on to the Olympics in Torino this coming February. There's going to be some tough competition, and as much as I wish I was there, I'm not, so I'll have to cheer from wherever the wind takes me this week.

Best of luck to all the skaters, hope that the competition goes with no injuries and no drama, but I think the drama is a given. We've got some strong skaters coming into the Olympics, and I can't wait to see who makes the team.

Skate fast, Mr. Smith, skate fast.
