10 Weird Facts About Me

Work has been kicking my ass, so you get a mildly generic post for today...

Ten on Tuesday : 10 Weird Facts About Me

1) I find Rick Moranis very sexy. No one believes me.
2) When eating fries at a restaurant, I like to line up my fries before eating them, like a little queue, because I like them to cool off
3) I have two big phobias - the dark, and icebergs or other large things underwater. The thought of 15% of the iceberg being visible and the other 85% lurking underwater terrifies me
4) I'm double jointed. I can't keep my finger straight without it locking.
5) I used to hate guacamole, until I tried it. Now I can't get enough.
6) It's easier for me to talk to people through a computer than it is face to face or on the phone.
7) When I was in eighth grade I wanted to be a fashion designer. I had notebooks of sketches and everything
8) Everyone who meets me and my sisters thinks my middle sister is older than me. It's not that she's taller or looks older, I just act younger.
9) I have yet to be beat by someone at Tony Hawk Pro Skater by someone not named Jeffery
10) I always cross my fingers when passing a cemetary and hold my breath and make a wish when crossing a bridge.

What weird things do you want to share about yourself? Is anyone still out there? I know this blog has become pretty dry and boring lately. But as soon as this stretch is over with work and I've got free time again, this blog will be the place to be, once again. For all four of you that still come here. :-D We shall rise again!!!

No way your blog is great! My day is not complete unless I come by and read some of your stuff. If not I've been hooked on the Trivia lately although I've been so bad at it. But my time will come. =)

I am loyal to your site, Yano!! I eat cheerios with mustard and I exfoliate from head to toe everyday, if these count for something weird?!

Posted by: Valerie on September 13, 2005 06:17 PM

I don't think your blog is boring at all! I am a die hard Yano What I mean ite. LOL I even tried the blog thing because of yours. Mine was boring so I quit. Anyway what is weird about me. Ok sigh...

I LOVE TOMATO SANDWICHES! Must be fresh bread TONS of mayo, a fresh ripe tomato from the fine and salt! OH MY GOSH! YUMMY. Yes, Yes, my hubby thinks I'm a sick ticket!

I will only drink milk in a frosted mug from the freezer.

I also shave my toes. Good grief I can't believe I admitted that

Nothing boring Yano :-D Weird? Let's see, I'm trying to learn to speedskate at "advanced age"...lol. And I like mayonaise on my cooked turnip greens. But my favorite food is north Indian.

Tomato sandwiches aren't weird Pridey! We eat those all the time in my family. I always thought it was an Italian thing!

I've got a weirder one for you. I LOVE mayonaise so much that when I was a kid I used to eat mayonaise sandwiches on white bread. Just bread...with mayo on it. Now THAT'S weird!

Rick Moranis rules, he's funny, plus he's Canadian! Check out his work on those Second City Television DVDs. Another Canadian thing: put some cheese curds and gravy on your fries! It's called POUTINE!

Posted by: Noel on September 13, 2005 08:03 PM

Hey, another Noel(le) for poutine!

I wouldn't recommend a steady diet of the stuff but a great thing to eat on a cold winter's night in Quebec.

Strange facts about me:

I pick up accents fast and unconsciously. I get a little drawl after a few days in Kentucky, and start sounding like an upper midwesterner after spending a lot of time with Wisconsin people. Or Chicago ones, for that matter. ;)

I can't stand orange juice.

I can whistle through my tongue.

Posted by: noelle on September 13, 2005 09:53 PM

Mmmmm, Poutine!! Good Stuff!!

Posted by: Marky Mark on September 13, 2005 10:56 PM

I'm totally freaked out. I thought for sure that 'Noel' post was Noelle, and then Noelle posted after that!

I'm with you on the iceberg thing. That freaks me out too!

Rise again? "Rise up in the cafeteria and stab them with your plastic forks!" - Pump Up The Volume.

You know people read everyday Yano! Don't you check your stats everyday before you sleep? ;P

I FLOVE tomato sandwiches!

And I'm with you, Yano, on the guac. I used to dislike avacados until I got to California and tried guacamole. Now, I can't get enough of the avacado.

Val - how does one even THINK of eating cheerios with mustard? I mean, how did you start?

Pridey/Denise - Tomato sandwiches sound tasty, but I'm not a big fan of mayo on sandwiches. With fries, yes, sandwiches, no.

SusanG: Just the thought of turnip greens makes me want to hurl. I'm a meatatarian.

I laugh that there are now 2 Noel(le)'s reading my blog - the Canadian one and the one who wants to be Canadian! :-P I really must try this "Poutine" thing - how do you know about it, too, Marky Mark?

Mike - of COURSE I check my stats everyday, but ever since I had 2000 people come to my page in one day looking for pics of Eva Longoria, I haven't put much faith in my stats.

Xinh - Yes. The avocado, in general, has become a good green friend of mine, and has made my list of "approved" fruits and vegetables, right behind the kiwi.

Wally - I still keep in touch with this guy I dated for, like, a week, does that count?

Posted by: Yano on September 14, 2005 02:10 AM

I still come here, when I should be studying. hee hee

We shall rise again? Dude, hella people still pop by here, you've been on the rise!

Posted by: Leen on September 14, 2005 06:32 AM

Ha, ha, ha! I found that rick Moranis comment funny only because I dated a guy (and almost married him) that looked like Rick Moranis. Remember Tod?

And, I didn't know that you were afraid of the dark!
