Last night I met up with the Baltimore ladies of short track, Monica and Tiasha. We headed out to Phillip's Buffet, which has a GREAT spread. I had some mahi mahi, salmon, crabcakes, swordfish, cod, clams, ahi tuna, and so much more. It was awesome, I ate to my hearts delight.
We had some great conversation and laughed a lot, reminiscing about competitions and all the crazy adventures we had all had touring the country and going to events. Tiasha has the best travel stories. Man, if I went through what she's gone through at airports, I'd quit my job - it would drive me crazy!
Its nice to see short track people again, laugh about bootie, talking about the sport and just being silly.
Afterwards they took me on a late night tour of the city, from the trip to the ghetto for gas to the really rich part, that even smelled rich.
Thanks so much for the night out, ladies! It's good to know there's people I can hang out with when I travel! And thanks to Tiasha's cousin for my AWESOME margarita glass. I have no idea how I'll fit it into my carry-on, but I'm bringing it home no matter what!
