Today at out services meeting, I had to give a presentation on a product I've never seen before. Luckily for me, I had a partner who knew a little more than me.

I'm an actress (sometimes, anyway). I love to be on stage, entertaining people. This, however, was way different. I was relaying information, doing a question/answer session. I was nervous the whole day, much more nervous before my presentation than I am before I take the stage. I kept on reviewing my notes and rereviewing and waiting for the dreaded moment to come.

It came, I did it, there was no blood shed. I survived. Luckily for me, there were other people in the audience who knew the product and were more than happy to step in on questions I didn't know the answer to. Sure, during my presentation I said 'OK' about 7 times (as counted by Redpac, who yes, is alive - he just fell asleep after talking to me and doesn't feel it necessary to answer his hotel phone or the insistent knocking on his door). But I did OK. I even got a couple 'good jobs' by the beautiful souls who could tell I was nervous.

...and tonight - I party.

Get ready for the drunken post people. I'm sure it'll be coming.
