Hello 2005!!! With the new year, comes a new layout. Don't know how much I like the layout right now, but I think that kitty is super-cute.
Hope everyone had a good New Year's Eve.
After watching the Illini squash Cincinnati, we headed over to Manny's to hang out for a bit before going to my aunt's place for our annual family party. My dad wasn't there, and a couple of the cousins missed it, but we still had a great time (sorry for not coming back, Manny and Rachel - we had an intense game of Disney Trivial Pursuit that ended at about 4am).
Drove home for a bit of sleep, and what do you know, the Illinois Tollway had already switched their tolls to 80 cents. Can you believe that? Eighty cents to travel 20 minutes. We bought an I-Pass yesterday, but haven't activated it yet - I-Pass users only have to pay 40 cents.
Now I'm heading back to the party to eat more food, then going to see a movie with the cousins (probably finding Neverland). Today we're having the very first 'On-Call Party', which is a party/poker tourney I'll be throwing when Dave's on call and I have nothing to do. Interested in coming *ahem-coworkers/mahjubahjus-ahem*? Give me a call. We'll start it up at around seven.
