Just wanted to share a series of emails with you with a completely random stranger...

Hey, are there any invites left, I would really appreciate to get one, I have been searching online for months to find one, please help me, as I said before, I would really appreciate it. Thank you

I've been using Gmail and thought you might like to try it out. Here's
an invitation to create an account.

Niro Jackman has accepted your invitation to Gmail and has chosen the brand new address niro.jackman@gmail.com. Niro's new address has been automatically added to your contact list so you can stay in touch with Gmail.
Thanks,
The Gmail Team

hi, thank you soooooo much!!! Thank you
thank you sooooo much.
is it okay if we dont really stay in touch or chat or anything, I wanted the email, but do we have to chat??? Im sorry, and I wish you the best of luck in your internet usage.
Thank you so much, sincerely Niro
Why do I feel like I just had a one night stand and woke up alone?
I feel like he just used me for my gmail invite.
Well actually, he did.
Hmph!
At least he said thank you...
Posted by Yano at October 22, 2004 10:14 PMin my experience email conversations like that end with one or the other losing interest anyway. (usually the other person in my case) so he sure didn't need to be so rude... it's not like either of you were obligated to respond to each other's emails for eternity, is it?
Posted by: Tom on October 23, 2004 12:12 AMTHAT was so unnecessary.
Posted by: LeeN on October 23, 2004 10:09 AMNot nice,, Bad man! I didn't know that internet one night stands could happen without cybersex,, wow, Yano, {patting you on the back} sorry, that wasn't nice at all.
Posted by: Tara on October 23, 2004 10:49 AMdang, that was really rude. if there were any way to do it, i would take the gmail invite back. hah, i'm ruthless like that. in retrospect, would you have really wanted to k.i.t. with a guy like that anyway?
Posted by: carla on October 23, 2004 03:48 PMHeh heh. I wonder if Niro Jackman is gonna start getting hate mail!
Anyway, I know the feeling. Sorta. I still get random strangers emailing me about L1vestr0ng bracelets ever since I was giving them away on my blog. And even though I mentioned up front that I have NO MORE wristbands to give away (or sell, for that matter)!
Posted by: noelle@ohnozonr.net on October 23, 2004 07:32 PMHa! I think it would be funny if you kept emailing him, saying something like, "Well, actually, it wouldn't be ok if we don't chat..." LOL
Posted by: Joanna on October 24, 2004 12:41 PMYeah. :D That'd be awesome.
Posted by: David on October 24, 2004 04:52 PMdaayahm; slam, bam, thank you maam.
Posted by: hiram on October 24, 2004 05:23 PMI doubt he meant to be malicious, it was just an odd way to go about it. Why not just say thanks and leave it as that? Totally weird. I wouldn't say it was rude, just strange. I mean, why would I have wanted to keep in touch with him anyway?
And before you start shooting out that hate mail, Noelle, names have been changed to protect the innocent. You don't think I'd post his name up here so he can google himself, do you? I get enough of that already!
