Image Editor Query

Quick question for y'all out there. Who's got Photoshop? What version? If not, then what do you use for your image editing?

The reason I ask is because I'm going to continue with my tips and tricks, but I have a feeling that a lot of them are going to be Photoshop-centric, but I want to make sure that I make it as generic as possible for people who don't, but it all depends....

i use Paint Shop Pro but i don't remember what version, i think 7.

..OK, maybe I'm missing something. Photoshop CS is like $600 on Amazon.com!! Did you all really buy it?!?! That's more than my whole computer cost!! I refuse to pay that much for a piece of software.

I have photoshop 4.0. I know it's kinda old but it works. I also have neatimage.

yeah i'd never pay $600 for photoshop. i have a copy of photoshop 7 for windows somewhere (don't ask how i got it), but i mainly use a mac, so uhh usually i go with iPhoto or the Gimp. all i really do is rotate and crop anyway.

Photoshop Elements.

I had Photoshop v.7 on my laptop before it was hit by Sasser. I wanted to replace it but wasn't willing to spend the shekels. So, I opted for Elements. I guess it depends your needs.
