So yesterday we went out for Marian's birthday (again) to her favorite place to dance with cute, complete strangers, Rush and Division. We spent a good chunk of our time at Finn McCool's (which used to be the Alumni Club). They'd done some renovation, and up on the dancefloor they've got this little catwalk for people to dance on. The DJ had a dance contest to see who could dance best to Britney Spears' 'Slave 4 U', and the girls made me go up and do my thing, which was pretty fun. Of course, the DJ said whoever took their top off would win, and sorry, I don't give free shows, so I didn't win. Oh well!
Later on we headed back to Shananigans, which was packed. I sweated off a couple pounds in there. Then the amps overheated and they had to turn off the music for a while. I was afraid it would start a riot or something, people were getting restless. We persuaded some random guys to sing, which was pretty awesome and people had a blast watching.
Best line of the night that we got? "Hi, my name is Phillip. My last name is Pino. Get it? Filipino?"
