I admit...when I lived at home I was pretty spoiled and never really did laundry. I'm a lazy, spoiled, bratty princess and I admit it.
But now that I am a married woman (ohh...sounds so scary!) it's either me or Dave that does that laundry. Oh wait, did I say me or Dave? Hmph. It's ME that does the laundry. Dr. Dave seems to have a pretty packed schedule...too busy and tired to take 2-3 hours out of the day to do the laundry.
I never knew that 2 people could accumulate so much laundry. I did 5 loads the other day, mostly towels from the visitors and Dave's scrubs. Luckily, the folding skills I picked up when working at the souvenir store at the airport are coming into effect. But there's just so much laundry! The pile of fresh laundry is quite intimidating.
And socks! Our apartment isn't that big. There's one bedroom, a walk in closet, a closet in the bedroom, a coat closet and the bathroom. We've only lived here for 8 months. How could SO many socks lose their partners? 50% of the socks don't have a match. Where did they all go? I've checked the house for gremlins and gnomes, and nothing!
Dave is on call today. The laundry folding can wait. I'm going to the zoo!

And as for the socks, I am convinced that there is a little sock stealing monster that lives in my dryer that eats nothing but socks. Did you see the cell phone commerical where the sock stealing moster is standing next to the dryer and the lady doing the laundry takes his picture with her cell phone. I'm telling ya I knew he was there, but no one would believe me!!!!!

I'm sure there's a good explaination to why one sock stays and the other one goes...but for the life of me...I can't figga it out! Oh well...life goes on! LOL! Well, chica, don't drown in all those clothes...Dave may not find you for a few days! :P
