After an eight month fasting, I had my first Krispy Kreme today. And it was a magical experience. I miss them so!

I was telling my clients here about it, and since there aren't too many Krispy Kremes out there, (and Californians are notoriously health conscious) they had never had one before. So I decided to stop by the one that's right by my house. Which isn't RIGHT by my house, but when you're driving around your neighborhood, it seems so close, but when you're late for work, then it's really far and out of the way.

Anyway, I drove to the Krispy Kreme, which is ironically located next to the Long Beach police station. Coincidence or business genius? Luckily, they had a drive through. Fortunately and unfortunately, the total was much higher than I anticipated, then I realized that they thought I wanted 2 dozen donuts instead of one. Well, I saw it as a sign from above that Shannon, Marian, my dad and Dave's dad will be eating Krispy Kremes this weekend. Did I mention that Dave's dad is coming too? No stress, I'm cool with it...Dave's taking them to a baseball game and me and the girls will do girlie things.

You may be wondering why I'm not so stressed, considering I was freaking out last week. Actually, my dad's been in Vegas for the weekend with friends, and is now in San Diego with his best friend from high school. My aunt spent the weekend with her California friends, so I didn't have to worry about entertaining them at all!!! *whew*

[Edited 11:13am] Due to some complaints by certain redheaded white devils on behalf of themselves and their taller almost-life partners, the Krispy Kremes shall also be consumed by Dan and Tall Steve. Anything to bring a little bit of happiness to their no-window hotel staying poor souls.
