Real quick, because I have a LONG night ahead of me...

Tomorrow I have a project due. I was supposed to be working on it all week, but I got tangled up with some client stuff and haven't had a chance to work on it. Today I got a curt call from the pres, telling me I had to get it done today. So I worked on it all today, while on the side I was still helping my client.

I was working on the VP's database, which is on her laptop, and I had the guys at the office promise me that they'd leave it on all night. I needed all the time I could get, and I knew I wouldn't get it all done by the time people left at 5 Chicago time and 3pm my time.

Then at around 5:45, I lost my connection. And guess what? I hadn't made a backup of everything. And since the guys said I wouldn't need to make a copy of the database, I don't have her data, either.

So I've been set back about, uh, 8 hours of work, left to piece together work on a database I don't have.

Time to bring out my magic wand.
