OK. Back up your files. Any files that you would beat yourself in the head for not backing up if you were to lose them - back them up now!
Go ahead and put in a blank CD into your CD-RW and make a backup CD.
Don't forget to back up you blog/website files.
So if anything happens, you'll have something to go back to, and you can write me a nice email and say 'Gee, Yano, thanks for the advice!'
Because if you don't do it now, you may never do it, and someday in the future, it's gonna happen - and you'll bludgeon yourself and scream to the heavens, 'Why!?!? Why didn't I listen to Yano?'
So back up your stuff!

Posted by: April (lil ape) on April 12, 2004 11:25 AMNo, nothing bad happened. Just trying to be proactive. I've already backed up all the pics on my drive, and backed up the site files. I'm going to make an extra backup of the blog database, too.
I've been putting a lot of stuff on my laptop lately, and the other day I had some problems booting it up and freaked out. That was enough for me!
