We're finally off to Disneyland today! I haven't been there since I was 5, but I love Disneyworld, so hopefully this will be a comparable experience.
I'm so excited!

oh...i wanted to tell you...about mardi gras (that's my culture, i'm black, my family's from louisiana), flashing isn't about of the festival. mardi gras has been around for the longest, and only this past century a few drunk college girls come along and f*ck everything up by lifting up their shirts and starting a stereotype. it sucks.
but anyway...just wanted to let you know. not that i'm offended by the title of the last entry, i just like telling everyone who doesn't know about that so they don't think the wrong thing. mardi gras is about enjoying life to it's fullest; the spontaneous and fun-loving nature of life, but there's a dignity to the masks and costumes and krewes in mardi gras too. i wish everyone knew that--i'm proud of my people! :D
