Went snowboarding with Dave today. I'm getting tons better and I'm actually starting to carve pretty good. Only had a couple bad falls, most of my other ones were to avoid people. And there were a LOT of people there. I guess everyone else got excited about all the rainfall in SoCal - that means snow in the mountains. It was so busy there, we had to park way down the street - all the parking lots were full.

In the shuttle to the mountain, I was sitting with this family. The kids were so cute, because they were looking out the window and they were so excited. I was talking to their aunt, and she told me that they had never seen snow before. The kids started asking if they could have a snowball fight, if they could build a snowman or make snow angels. I could see years of repressed Christmas movies going through their minds. It was the cutest thing ever!
