Happy Valentines Day! Me and Dave area just having a low key day, just hanging out at home and dinner and a movie tonight...
One of my favorite Valentine's day had nothing to do with a boyfriend or anything. It was when I was young, and my dad woke me and my sisters up to help him in the yard. There was a heavy snow the night before, and we had thought that he wanted us to help him shovel.
Yes, he wanted helping shoveling, but not for the reason we thought. We went into the backyard and my dad started shoveling on the lawn, and me and my sisters stood on the porch, directing him. He got out a big can, used for insecticide and filled it with red food coloring and water, and started spraying the snow with it.
After it was all done, we woke up my mom and brought her out into the backyard.
How awesome would it be to wake up on Valentines day and have this in your backyard?

A little part of me is with my dad today, who's without his soul mate and best friend for the first time...
