Well, I've been debating for the last couple weeks about my haircut. I like it, but it's a lot of maintenance with the ends, because they tend to flip out a bit. I also thought it made my face look really long. But did I really want to cut more off? I wasn't sure. I had already cut enough off.
But when I found out I would be going to Seattle for work, that made the decision for me. I made an appointment, and today Yuki cut my hair. I like it a lot, and I think it's going to be a little less maintenance than the previous cut, even though it's shorter. He cut off some of the back and angled the hair to the front, which is actually similar to the way I had it in '96. Since I have significantly less hair, this cut lasted only about an hour, rather than the 2 hour marathon of the last haircut. It was nice to see Yuki and to chat with him again. He's so cool to talk to, and even though we didn't get to talk about as much short track this time around, we talked about my wedding, marriage and having kids. Who'd have thought!?!?
But anyway, I love my hair. He cut it just the way I wanted. Though I was kind of surprised when he cut me some bangs. I haven't had bangs since I was 16. But they're really light, you can hardly see them. But I think this cut suits my face and my personality a lot better than the last one.

In other news, I had a two and a half hour lunch today since I got most of my work done in the morning. I went shopping around downtown Seattle which was a lot of fun. I really love downtown Seattle, there's a lot of great shopping. I stopped by FAO Schwartz and I just about freaked. There were hippos everywhere. I went into hippo overload. Only the fact that I can't fit all of those homeless hippos in my luggage prevented me from buying the lot of them!

Noelle - I love gossiping with my hairdressers, its the best. Especially when you have things to gossip about.

Lara - It's definitely worth the trip. Even before all this, it's been one of my favorite cities.
Denise - They're there, but I pushed 'em out of the way. He gave me like 6 hairs of bangs.

Heh heh, i'm still growing out my bangs, i've been for almost a year now! they're to the end of my face, but still got a few more inches to go lol. I've had bangs all my life, so i thought it was time for a change, plus my hairdresser said i have too low of a forehead and small face, so bangs weren't working for me LOL.
But anyways, are bangs in again? i heard they were, but i'm not going back to bangs again for the sake of "bangs coming back as a new trend" no thanks, LMAO.
