If you've got some extra cash, or feel like doing a little charity this holiday season, my friend Dave is doing the AIDS LifeCycle. AIDS LifeCycle is a 7-day, 585-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. You can read his post about his reasons for doing this, and I admire him for taking this on. I have hard time riding my bike around the block, much less for seven days from SF to LA! His challenge is not only to train for such a long bike ride, but also to raise the $2500 necessary. It sounds cliche, but every little bit counts. I remember friends who did the AIDS Ride from the Twin Cities to Chicago, and raising that money isn't easy. Dave's a great guy, and he's helped me out a lot. And to me, the best way to inspire to keep on training and make his goals is to see how many people are out there supporting him! It helped me during my Blogathon, and it will help him during his training. So help a brotha out!
