Well, since my mom has been getting better (though not out of the woods yet) I decided to go back to California. I hadn't seen my husband in weeks, and I felt it was time to go back. My mom is in capable hands in Chicago, and I'll be calling to check on her often.
So I got in earlier today, and it's weird to be back, having a husband again.
Time to readjust again!
