The Friday Five

1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?
Yup. It's the same. Haven't had a chance yet to make the big change to Christine Estacio.

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?
For some reason I've always loved the name Cassandra. She was one of my favorite characters from Greek mythology.

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)
I dunno, they picked it out of a book. I don't know why it isn't something unusual, like my sister's names - Claudine and Fatima. And there's no big story behind my name. Unlike Claudine, who was named after a movie star, who eventually ended up being accused for murder. Or Fatima, who was originally supposed to be named Charlene, but was later named after Our Lady of Fatima because of a vision my mother had. Nope. Just plain old Christine. The third most popular girl's name the year I was born.

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?
Not really, though I want to name my firstborn girl Trinity or Rowan, two of my favorite characters.

5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com accurate? How or how isn't it?
Pretty accurate!!!

Interesting - a close friend of mine named her daughter Cassandra (and she was born on my b-day).

And an ex-BF from long ago (we're still friends) named his daughter Trinity! He thought it was really unusual but it's showing up on those annual popular names lists now. It's a cool name!
