We watched the wedding video, the other day. No, not the one from the videographer, because we didn't have one. My own video, from my camera. Call it the Bride-Cam. It isn't much, though, because my video camera broke when we got to Wrigley Field. That's what happens when you let drunk people in an Escalade limo pass around your video camera.
But since I'm a geek, I was able to fix my camera myself. I just had to sacrifice 3 spring hens, spin around 5 times under a full moon and read the user troubleshooting manual.
So me, Dave and Justin (Dave's bro, who's visiting from home) were able to watch the video from the Escalade. It was pretty funny. We had the music pumpin' in the limo, and we were all dancing and there were chips, beer and champagne being passed around everywhere. The camera got passed around several times, and it seemed that more than once a groomsman zoomed on the bust of the bridesmaids. And there was a lot of dancing. And booty shaking. It was pretty fun to watch.
Then we all took a group shot. We had a lot of booze left over from the bachelorette party, so the girls took pucker shots. This whole time I'm filming. But I guess I totally forgot I had the camera on when I took my shot, because the camera just sat, focused on my chest. And on the grape pucker that I had spilled on my chest and on the inside of my dress. When we were watching, Dave was like 'Why are you focusing on your chest?" "Uh, I think I forgot that the camera was on after I took the shot". Classy Christine, really classy.
So we were groovin' to "Ignition" and "Magic Stick" and "Senorita". The camera was passed around again as we neared Wrigley. Once we got there, the last words my camera heard before its injury was "How do you turn this fucking thing off?"
Thanks dude. Thanks a lot.
But it's all good. The memories that were captured on that tape were priceless. I'm just happy I was able to fix it.
Though I wish it had broken BEFORE the whole 'Yano's so drunk she forgot the camera was on' incident.
Good times.

I guess I never realized how much I would enjoy watching it from a different perspective after the wedding. /sigh oh well.
