Today's Photo Friday: Aged
OK, so I'm cheating a bit here and using the same pic from a couple days ago, because well, this picture IS aged. It's a picture from my Chicago to Long Beach roadtrip, and I'm a little unsure as to where it's from. I believe it's somewhere outside of Nevada. I had so many beautiful pictures to choose from, but this one is my favorite just because of the different colors of the mountain. From the road, the black bottom looks like tents set up at the foor of the mountain. It was quite breathtaking, and the pic hardly does it any justice.
Anyway, when we passed by it, my dad remarked, "Its incredible that it took thousands of years to make something that beautiful..."
Oh, you mean you guys drove from Chicago to Long Beach?...AWESOME!
I would love to do that sometime in the future..
