My DSL was supposed to be set up today. But it wasn't. I'm dying here! I think it would be the one thing to get me out of my sickly misery. Now I must wait until Thursday. My office isn't going to be happy about that! Oh well, I'm bracing myself for the yelling over the phone tomorrow. Well, I guess its easier than a yelling in person, right?
Didn't do much today, just worked and sat wrapped up in my blanket watching '8 Mile' finally. I liked the movie much better than I thought I would. And that strange attraction I have to Eminem is even stronger now. He really did a great job in the movie. I think he's a natural actor, especially in his scenes with the little girl. And I'm thinking he's kinda hot. I like him better with dark hair. Whoo! Is it getting warm in here?
Oh. Its just my fever...
Well, here's one of my pics from, you guessed it, the wedding. It's one of my favorites. Jaygee was putting makeup on Rachel right by the hotel window, and I really liked the lighting.

While we're on the subject of pictures, does anyone know any good ways to create a picture gallery? I want thumbnails and captions, kind of like what I have in my picture gallery right now, except instead of opening in a new window, I want it to open in a frame so you don't have to keep on closing windows. Any ideas?
Posted by Yano at September 2, 2003 10:11 PMthere is (http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index). It keeps the pictures in one place and organized. You can also put thumbnails too! Tres cool.
By the way, I love those wedding pictures.

Posted by: Kathy on September 3, 2003 01:56 PMlike Ann said, there is an open source application called the gallery which resizes images, stores captions, allows comments, etc. it's fully automated and doesn't require a database. all you need is PHP 4.x and some binairy extensions (image manipulation). you can also store multimedia such as movies, music, etc.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gallery/
cheers!
