Today was a pretty busy day, I'm pretty pooped right now.
We started out going to church, at a church where there was no singing. Really weird!
Then we met up with Lanie and Rick at the E Hula Mau, which was a Hawaiian exhibition here in Long Beach. We didn't see any performances, but we walked around the stalls and checked out the crafts. I ended up buying some scented crystals and Dave bought a necklace just like mine. We're nerds now. We match. Here's a pic of the pretty leis that they had for sale:
After that, me and Dave hung out with his cousins Cathy, Vinnie, Dean and his girlfriend at Huntington Beach. We had a blast there! I tried bodysurfing, and, well, considering that I don't swim, I did pretty well. OK, I didn't. I swallowed about half the ocean. But at least I had fun! Dave loved it. He loves the beach. He already has his own board!

Afterwards, we met up with an old friend of Cathy's at Newport beach. We walked around there for a bit and looked for a wetsuit for Dave. By the time we leave here, he'll be an expert surfer!
So ends the day, and I'm exhausted! At least I've got all that sand out of my ass....
wow! pretty pics. so different from pics you'd take here. it must be weird to see views of the ocean everyday when you've been looking at views of the city all your life. must be nice... ^_^ hope cali is treatin ya well!
