I'm subbing a class for someone today, and teaching the latest version of the product. I spent most of my free time yesterday going over the lesson plan. Didn't bother checking out the machines 'til before I went home.

And the main module that everyone is looking forward to doesn't work. At all. Error messages all over the place. I was assured yesterday that everything worked.

You know, I could panic right now. Because that doesn't work. Because I really haven't even SEEN the new product yet. Because I was supposed to do come consulting work today, too.

But you know what?

I met Jim Lee yesterday.

And I found an old CD that I made a long time ago with the BoDeans' "Good Things", Ben Harper's "Steal My Kisses", Live's "Lightning Crashes", Sublime's "Santeria" and a whole bunch of other kick ass old songs. Listened to it on my way to work and it made me feel ready for anything.

We'll see how I am at the end of the day!
