This next set of pictures is dedicated to the best roommates that a girl can ever have in college - Nikki, Emily and Jaygee. We had a 3 floor, 4 bedroom apartment on Elm Street in Urbana. During the time that the 4 of us lived together, we had some of the best times of my life. Jaybee graduated after a year, so it was just the three of us (and a fourth roommate, but she wasn't around much). Why the name "The Luscious Lolas of Elm"? Well, Lola means grandmother to most Filipinos. And to most people out there, we were the big sisters, the ones that had been around and who knew what's up. And I have no idea who came up with Luscious Lolas. But the name just stuck. That's actually where my bunny's name came from. And although Nikki is genetically, Italian, she's Filipino inside, baby. We had some great times in apartment 18! Pillow fights, late night cramming, potluck dinners, pre-parties, meetings, Papa John pizza nights, middle of the night talks, drunken revelry, barbeques, down low hookups, you name it, we did it. Good times were held in 18!
