So I'm at church, (c'mon, you know I'm a good lil' Catholic girl) and we get to the last song of the day, and it's "How Great Thou Art". Now having this song come up in the song rotation is like having "Love Like This" come up at a hip hop club, or "American Pie" come up at an Urbana bar. I could almost hear the whispers of "Aww, hell yeah!" and "Hot damn, this is a damn good song" come up from the parishoners as the reader announced the song. It's one of the few times that I'll hear the whole congregation sing. It's my dad's favorite song. Even my mom sang, which brought a smile to my face. Everyone was grinning from ear to ear, and the voices were so loud. It was awesome. God, I love that song.
So Fata turns to me and says, "Man, you know it's a gonna be a good day when they bust out 'How Great Thou Art'"
Aww hell yeah, sister friend. Hell yeah!

My cousin's wedding next week is going to be a short ceremony, so she says? The shortest catholic wedding I've been to is 40 mins. Oye vey.
I may have been the only 2nd grader that flunk sunday school class :)
