Met up with Paula, Peter and Rod today for dinner. This was Dave's first taste of my short track life. Too bad he was so tired from working 14 hours. But dinner was great, the conversation was awesome. It started out with them giving us suggestions for places to live, but as dinner progressed, out came the stories of car chases, drive by's and drug dealings. Yeah. LA is looking REALLY impressive right now! Just kidding. It was a lot of fun. It was nice to see Rod again (as I suspected before, the buddha belly is shrinking - I believe that Rod is losing weight! He's wasting away! At first I thought he was Kate Moss!) And Peter and Paula were great. I coulda stayed there and gossiped forever. If only all stalkers could be so lucky and find stalkee parents so willing to fraternize with stalkers!
Since we were at a brewery, I felt obligated to have the 'Sampler'. Little did I know that the glasses were so big! But I was a trouper and finished them all. Of course, my motor and speech skills waned as the night went on. I apologize for any sudden outbursts of laughter, balls of spit hurling through the air, table pounding, story interrupting, shouting, and the permanent Cheshire grin that I'm sure was on my face.
