The Fat Blocker Message

So I'm at work, and I get a call from 'S', a fellow coworker. He's at a client site, doing some customizations...

"Christine?"
"Hey "S"!"
"Hey, how's it going..." Insert idle chitchat here. "So anyway, I was wondering if you could do me a favor."
"Sure, what do you need?"
"Well, I need for you to give Bryan a message for me. The tech line is busy and he's not answering his phone."
"OK, what should I tell him?"
"Tell him that I took some fat blocker today. And I had a buffalo chicken wrap, potato chips, and a bowl of beef stew. And now it's hittin' me, real bad. And I don't have access to a bathroom right now! So as I sit here in my discomfort, Bryan was the first person to cross my mind. He would have wanted me to share this moment with him."
"Hahaha. Uh. OK. Are you alright?"
"As soon as I find a bathroom I will be!"

And so I told Bryan. And he laughed. And then he recounted his own story of 'an attack'.
"So I went running the other day, and I was pretty far from my place, when I felt it. I felt the attack. I panicked. Do I keep on running, and risk losing control? Do I walk home, and prolong the experience? Dare I duck into a deserted alley and do my business? I decided to take the high road, and walked quickly home, accident free."

Man, you gotta love working with a bunch of guys.

I'm so glad your coworkers are so comfortable with their bodily functions. (don't hold it in, boys!)

But there's a big question begging to be asked in that anecdote: what the heck is a fat blocker? And should I have taken one before eating grilled cheese and onion rings today?
