Trapped at Work!

Help! I've been at work for the past 12 hours. And I'll be here for a lot longer, too. I was supposed to go to Denver, but the president of the company wanted to help me work on the stuff that I was going to do out there. There's a lot of stuff that he can customize on the spot, and since this is a BIG client, he wants it done his way. And he wants to show me how the new product works, and how to use it effectively.

So essentially, I'm in programming boot camp. He's Miyagi, and I'm Daniel-san. It's like those old Kung Fu movies, when the teacher hits the student with the bamboo stick to teach them some sort of lesson on life. It's torture for the student, but it all carries good intentions - to learn. So I'm stuck here in a conference room with the president of the company for two days. My coworkers give me looks of pity as I pass by them during bathroom breaks. He has good intentions, and I'm learning a lot, but it's not easy to learn from him. He said himself once in a meeting, 'I'm a tough guy to work with. I'm harsh. I'm critical. But to work at this company, to work with me, you need to grow a thick skin.' (or something like that)

I just did a measurement. My skin thickness is at about 4 feet right now.
