I don't think I've been home from work any earlier than 7pm this week. It's been REALLY hectic at work since everyone's left.

Yesterday we had our Book Club meeting, and this time I had actually finished the book. (There have been many book clubs where I didn't finish the book) The book was Fury by Salman Rushdie. It was a pretty good book, not one of my favorites, but pretty entertaining. We had a pretty good discussion, but as always with our book club, the better conversation comes when we're NOT talking about the book. Yesterday's talk was about religion, namely the things one has to go through to become a new member of a religion. Of course, we also went through office gossip, which this time around, there was a LOT of.

I also went bowling yesterday night, and it's always great to hang out with the old gang. I love to give hugs! Looks like our bowling nights is going to be a monthly thing. That's good, I gotta work on my game. I scored a 119, then a measly 85 after that. But that's all good...it was cosmic bowling so I got to catch up on all the music videos that I've missed, and got to watch Gel and Jamie drool over Shakira.

Today for lunch, we met up with Abie (who was laid off last week *pout*) for some food and pool. It was great to see him, and it was good to give him the hug goodbye that I didn't get to do last week. *sigh* I'm gonna really miss that guy.

It's freezing in the office today. I'm wearing my big yellow jacket. I look like Big Bird's vertically challenged little sister. It doesn't help that today was ice cream day in the office. That's my weakness. I had 4 scoops, and some cookies, too. Diet be damned, ice cream makes me happy!!!
