Well, I finally did something I've been putting off for a LONG time - upgrading to Photoshop 7.0. I had become so comfortable with 6.0, I didn't want to upgrade. But I found all these great brush and tutorial sites, but most of them only dealt with 7, not 6, so I decided to make that leap. It's SCARY! 7.0 looks so different! It'll take me a while to get used to the new options. But to tell the truth, it's AWESOME. Just in the hour I spent playing around with it, there are so many new great add ons, I know I'll have a great time with it.
Maybe I can then actually add some of MY OWN art to my art gallery!
Posted by Yano at May 6, 2003 11:41 PMI so need to take a class how to use 6.0; I'm sure 8.0 will be coming out sooner than later.
Posted by: Mona on May 7, 2003 02:04 AMAre the hotkeys the same? Last time I was on 4.0 and waited until 6.0 to upgrade. Talk about disoriented... I don't think I can deal with them changing the hotkeys around again? :(
Posted by: chris on May 7, 2003 11:31 AMPhotoshop 7 is off the chain. I couldn't imagine what I did without it ;)
Now you can make good on your threat to "edit" me in a speedskating pose...(don't think I haven't had something in the works since SLC, yano LOL)

And as far as getting cumffy with something then having to change. I agree. It is hard!
Posted by: Teri on May 8, 2003 09:18 AMHey Christine!! Could you tell me those good sites you found? I got 7.0 awhile ago and I've just been messing around with it but I'm way lost!! I definitely need to check out those tutorial sites, so I'd be great if you gave me the links. Thanks!
