My Belly Sings

I love having a good meal in a strange city.

I met up with a friend from Portland (who I didn't know lived here til she posted on my blog) and she took me out to this cool place called 'Oba' or something like that. Anyway, the food was good, the desert was great, and the conversation was even better. Yeah, there's nothing better than eating dinner and having non-stop conversation. I think we could have gone on for hours.

And I got a mini-tour of downtown Portland afterwards. Pretty nice place, but I'd love to see it in daylight!

So thanks so much for a fun night, Linda. We'll definitely have to do it again!

My tummy now begs me to go to sleep early.

Hi Christine, Hi Linda! Wish I could have joined you. I like downtown Portland - it's a nice city, pedestrian-friendly. Uh, just don't forget to feed the meters there. They'll nail you fast!

Hey Christine, it's cool that your having fun here in Portland!! How long are you here for? That's so awesome that you and Linda hung out. It's crazy, anywhere you go, you'll have a friend from OZ!! Hey if you get in downtown Portland again, there's a pretty big poster of Kip Carpenter on the side of Copeland's Sports store. HeHe, I enjoyed seeing it as I walked by. Alright, I hope you continue having fun here.

Hey, I love playing tour guide ! Poor Christine had to listen to practically my entire life story! But Oba was good, I hope to go back there sometime. Noelle, when were you in Portland? They have fancy new meters here, but I park in garages or lots. I suck at parallel parking!
