OK, so we're one step closer to getting married - we picked out the invitations today. The invitation lady (I don't know what else to call her) came to my house with about 8 HUGE books of different invitations. Me and Dave went through each one, looking for the right invitation. It looked like it was going to take us forever to go through them, but it only took us two hours to decide. I say 'only' because she said she had one client that took 7 hours to decide. Sorry, I don't have that much time to waste. Anyway, we had narrowed it down to 4 favorites and went with our choice because it was different, elegant, and affordable. The lettering will be in script in slate gray, and the invites have a soft silver border. It's pretty nice. I had wanted something periwinkle to match my colors, but I found the periwinkle invites tacky.
And who knew invites could be so EXPENSIVE!?!?
Yesterday we watched 'Daredevil', which was pretty entertaining. I'm not going to 'Spiderman' rave about it, but it was pretty good. And to my surprise, it stayed pretty true to the comic. Ben did a good job. Colin did a good job. Jennifer Garner KICKS ASS.
Watched short track on TV today. Surprising how NBC can fit 3 days of competition into 1 hour of programming. And they didn't even show the relay, which is the most exciting event. Hmph! But hey, I'm not going to complain....at least their SHOWING it on TV. Dude, if they show curling on network TV, they have GOTTA show short track.
Tonight I'm heading out to Transit, and for some reason I've never been before, but it seems like everyone I know goes there. It's been forever since I've gone out (well, except for last week) and I need to dance! dance! dance! I haven't danced in so long. I think I may have forgotten how. Luckily, Fatima's coming, so she can teach me all the hip and cool new moves kids nowadays are doing. *wink*
