I was thinking of making a post about the last day of competition, but as I'm writing it, I'm thinking I'm just going to repost the story of the whole trip, with some added details. Don't know how long it's going to take, but trust me, it'll be long and I'm going to babble away, because hey, this is my page. I can say whatever the hell I wanna say. *wink* I'm still trippin' from everything that happened out there, and a little sad that it's all over. But it was a good time. Definitely memorable!
So it looks like my hits are up. I'm getting about twice as many people coming to my page than normal. It's kinda weird, kinda crazy. You all are just using me for my SLC pics! But welcome to all you new people out there. I'll be adding to that gallery periodically.
Yesterday it snowed on the drive home. It was pretty hard to see, but the drive home wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Talked to Dave about my adventures in SLC and he was amused. He's moved to Michigan for the next two months doing a rotation out in Detroit. It really sucks, because we have a lot of planning to do before the wedding, and, well, I didn't think he'd be going away again. It really sucks. And what sucks even more is that he doesn't know if he's going to be home for Valentine's day. SUCKS!!! Oh well. There will be other Valentine's days in our future. One isn't going to matter.
All right, I'm off to write my Memoirs of a Short Track Stalker.
Posted by Yano at February 12, 2003 09:14 AMi'm notorious for writing such entries but they're for me to remember what happened and maybe the people who were involved as well... who doesn't like seeing their name pop up in someone else's blog? :)
V-Day... bah! :P
Posted by: alan on February 12, 2003 10:21 AMAlan - exactly. My memories are fading fast, and I need to write them down for me to remember. So while I'm writing them down, I might as well share, right?
